One of the biggest, if not the biggest, parts of Lyrania, are the stats that each player has. These crucial numbers will affect every fight against mobs and bosses to varying degrees. Let's take a look at their functions and how to get more.

': Affects how many HP you get each level.
* 'Attack
': Affects how much damage you do.
* 'Defence
': Affects how well you can withstand blows.
* 'Accuracy
': Affects how often you hit what you're attacking.*
* 'Evasion
': Affects how good you are at avoiding blows.*

'Note that these stats can and will go over 100%. This doesn't necessarily mean that you will hit every time or dodge every hit. Player Accuracy is pitted against Mob Evasion and vice versa (for example, a player with 100% chance to hit a mob that evades 50% of blows will not hit every time). Accuracy over 100% gives you the chance to hit twice in one round, 200% gives you the chance to hit 3 times in one round, and so on.
Each player has the five base stats located at the top of their Lyrania page. Typing /stats list your buffed stats. Your buffed stats include your
:1. 'Base Stats

:2. 'Stats From Token Boosts
' - Each of the five stats has an associated permanent boost you can buy.
:3. 'Stats From Equipped Jewellery
' - They can be gained from maps/dungeons, area bosses, crafted, given to you, or bought from the Market.
:4. 'Stats Bestowed By House Items
': Many house items, including the Portrait and Medicine Ball. Many others do as well.
:5. 'Stats Bestowed By Guild Buildings
' - Guilds have three buildings that can give stats:
::'Infirmary
': Gives additional Health.
:: 'Barracks
': Gives additional Attack.
:: 'Armoury
': Gives additional Defence.
:6. 'Talismans
' Any Talismans that have a socketed gem bestow an additional bonus to the corresponding stats.
:7. 'Potions
' - Potions that are still in effect bestow temporary stat boosts depicted in Alchemy.
:8. 'Green Beer
' - Can extend the life of a potion or give you the random effect of one.
An Admin and Community may also give stat double to a player or globally. It works in this way; everyone gets an extra 100%, plus an additional 20% per 100% personal stat drop boost you already had.
As you gain more base stats, you will gain them at a reduced pace unless something is changed, such as increasing the Training Grounds guild building. One can also smoosh jewellery together in an attempt to gain some more stats.
= Stat catchup boosts =
Players who have less than 25% the top 50 players average total stats will have 10x the chance of gaining a stat, players who have less than 50% of the top 50 players average total will have 5x the chance of gaining a stat. If one of the stat boosts are active for you it will show under the /stats command in chat. There's no official place in the game which tells you what the threshold for the 5x and 10x boost is in stats. As this is a moving threshold you need to calculate this by hand from the rankings!
