You can start doing Alchemy at level 8 Construction when you've built a kitchen in your house. You make potions by adding a number of raw materials into the pot and no recipes are given.
So far we only know these recipes but as these take 12 raw materials to make it's safe (but is it secret) to assume that others might follow the same pattern.
Once you reach level 14 Construction, an Alchemy Lab is available to be built. With an Alchemy Lab, you can create even stronger versions of the basic potions, but require 3 times the necessary components.
Once you reach Level 27 Construction, you can upgrade your Alchemy Lab to a Science Lab. With the Science Lab, you can create third tier potions, but require 9 times the necessary components of 1st level potions.
Different potion types stack, even if different levels. For example, a Fruit Simmer and a Weak Weapon Wax. Also a Fruit Simmer and a Burning Weapon Wax would. However, two potions of the same type, but different levels, will 'not' stack, i. e. Fruit Simmer and Fruit Grill, or Miracle Pill and Miracle Suppository. Lastly, identical potions of the same level 'and' type will increase the duration of the potion lasting. For example, two Fruit Simmers would last 80 minutes. There is no cap on time duration of potions if one keeps using them.

In addition to the normal potions you can make, there is a gag potion that claims to give 1337 in each stat, and +100% damage, but when consumed, it just tells you how gullible you really are for thinking such a potion was real. It was introduced as an April Fools joke in 2015. starup had nothing to do with this recipe I swear
