Enchantments have now been added to the game! Enchants will allow you to add special effects from more Critical Hit Damage to global drop bonuses or even a jack of all jades boosts on to jewellery (of the correct type) that has an available empty socket.
Socketed jewellery can be found naturally in maps, jewellery lockboxes, or on area bosses. Natural sockets will be the primary source of sockets on jewellery, you can, however, apply more sockets to any jewellery with the following methods: # Smooshing a 3 socket into → A base piece of jewellery with 0 sockets = adds 1 socket on a base piece of jewellery (100% certainty) with a chance of adding a second socket # Smooshing a 3 socket jewel into → A base piece of jewellery with 1 socket = 100% chance of adding a second socket # Smooshing a 3 socket jewel into → A base piece of jewellery with 2 sockets = chance of adding a third socket if a crown # Smooshing a 2 socket jewel into → A base piece of jewellery with 1 socket = chance of adding a second socket # Smooshing a 2 socket jewel into → A base piece of jewellery with 0 sockets = adds 1 socket to on a base piece of jewellery (100% certain) with a chance of adding a second socket # Using Jewellery modifier on → any base piece of jewellery under 3 sockets = adds 1 socket on jewel (100% certainty)
Jewellery Fragments are the key to getting some enchantments fast, as it will cost 50,000 Jewellery Fragments to assemble a jewellery lockbox, your guild can now purchase/find Jewelled monoliths along with your other statues to get a steady flow of fragments. You can also find Jewellery Fragment chests while battling, destroying jewels (non crafted jewels), and can be found when investigating a dungeon room.
Enchantments, for the most part, will be found in jewellery lockboxes (purchasable at the top of your inventory jewellery screen) Jewellery lockboxes can also be found as a global drop, or can be purchased through promotions.
'From opening Jewellery lockboxes you have a 86% chance of finding a Jewel, 10% chance of finding a random enchant and a 4% chance of getting a jewel modifier.

# Have a chance to be found when looting bosses or map room. # Tradable with the exclusion of JOAJ boost enchantments. # Once applied, an enchantment can only be removed with 50,000 jewel fragments to return it to your inventory. Otherwise it is free to remove, but your enchant will be destroyed in the process. # Some enchantments will only apply to certain jewellery types (i.e. Earrings, Rings, Bracelets, Necklace, or Crowns). # Global Gold Boost/Global Jade Boost applies to the size of the global drop(s) associated with the currency. These do not increase your gold during a battle, or your jade finds per battle.

Conjuring, Upgrading and Re-rolling enchants can be performed by using enchanting dust on the enchants page in the inventory. The options are available only if you have enough enchanting dust to perform the action and the conditions listed below are met, the links won't appear otherwise. Enchanting dust can be found from blue party bags or from destroying enchants. Destroying enchants from a given tier of enchant gives a random amount of enchanting dust for that tier, destroying enchants from higher tiers will give larger amounts of dust.
Re-Rolling
# Re-rolling an item, re-rolls the enchant % to a % in the same tier. # Re-rolling an item costs more dust each time it is attempted. The first attempt costs 2250 dust. # Re-rolling after upgrading does not reset the re-roll costs. Re-roll costs remain the same as they were before upgrading.
Upgrading # An upgrade takes an item from the tier it is currently in, to the tier above it. # An upgrade can only occur on an item which is at the top value of it's tier for Stats, Critical Hit Damage (CHD) and Critical Hit Chance (CHC) and Weapon/Armour boost, within 2.5% of the max effect for armour/weapon power, and within 5% for everything else. # After an enchant has been upgraded it can still be re-rolled. # An enchant can be upgraded multiple times. # Attempting an upgrade can fail! It can fail or critical fail, in the event that it does critical fail, the enchant is lost forever. # Joaj, Archaeological Tools and dungeon mastery enchants cannot be upgraded! # Tier 6-10% Attack/Accuracy/Evasion and Defence enchants cannot be upgraded to 10-12% enchants. # Upgrading costs 17,500 dust for the first upgrade, and increases for each subsequent tier (17500 dust first upgrade, 36,921 dust second upgrade and so on). This increase only applies once you have successfully upgraded to the next tier.
Conjuring
# Costs 25k enchanting dust to randomly generate an enchant.
This is for base dust amounts only. If the item has been re-rolled the dust quantity increases from the minimum (currently unknown how much).
