With the advent of guild ranks, guild leaders are now able to give out powers to as many guild members as they like. This is a great way to take some of the burden off a guild leader, and also a way to make guild members feel more empowered.

Guild ranks are never in color, even if your guild has a Monument. They also only show in guild chat and the guild members list. Members that have a guild rank will still have their regular rank show up in the Players Online list and elsewhere, such as Main chat.

Guild ranks are created by a guild leader and/or another guildmate(s) that is given the power to do so. Only the guild leader can assign a rank though. The process of creating a rank and assigning one are simple enough. Here's how

  1. Click Guild.
  2. Click Guild Ranks.
  3. Click Create New Rank.
  4. You MUST give the rank a name. The name can contain anything but an apostrophe and MUST be 5 minimum to 100 maximum including the coding.
  5. You can now color a guild rank. Using the format of <font color⇒Rank</font>. You can use either a color name, such as red, or the hexadecimal color code, such as FF0000, after the =.
  6. Click Set Rank.
  7. Click Go Back.
  8. Click Set Member Ranks.
  9. Use the drop-down menu next to a guild member's name to find a guild rank to give them.
  10. Click Set.

Note: Admin intervention may be necessary in cases of catastrophic screw-ups. Remember to follow what it says here, please.

Rank Permissions

  1. Invite To Guild - if a guild has an opening, or multiple openings, a guildmate assigned this power can invite another player. This is done by typing /invite playername . For example, /invite Keith . There is a three day cooldown period between joining guilds, NOT leaving one.
  2. Kick From Guild - give a guild member the ol' boot. They will not collect $200.
  3. Set GMoTD (Guild Message of The Day) - a guild member given this power can edit and set the guild message of the day, i.e., the little message in green under the big orange message you see when logging in or refreshing. To edit it, type /gmotd edit.
  4. Note: If there is a link in the guild message of the day you cannot use /gmotd edit. The message has to be edited the longer way by using /gmotd message here.Yes, even by the guild leader.
  5. Upgrade Building - If a guild has a building slot(s), and the required upgrade components are in the guild, then a member given this power can improve a building by one, or more, levels.
  6. Downgrade Building - decreases a guild building by one level. A building downgraded only gets back half of the cost it took to get the building to its current level.
  7. Note: You will receive a popup that asks if you are sure when upgrading or downgrading.
  8. Purchase Double - a guild member with this power can purchase a double hour, or multiple hours, for the guild. The first hour is 1,000p, the second hour is 2,000p, the third hour is 3,000p, etc. The purchase price resets back to 1,000p for the first hour at 00:00 server time each day.
  9. Guild Announce - These are the messages that say [ Guild Name ] Announcement: <some message>.To use this power, type /gann messagehere , replacing the messagehere part. For example, /gann Keith taught me this.

  12. Summon Boss - a guild member given this power can call forth the boss for the guild to fight.
  13. Access Vault - if a guild has the Jewelry Vault building, a guild member with this power can put in and take out pieces of jewelry stored in it.
  14. Set Tradeskills - if a guild has the Peasant Housing building, a guild member can set guild tradeskill jobs. A guild member will see a timer on the left side of the screen above where the mail is displayed. 50% of the guild leader's, and 25% of guild officers, total Leadership (Jade Temple amount plus any house bonuses), are used to decrease the cost of the guild Tradeskill job(s). Regular members get no discount.
  15. Mute Guild Members - a guild member with this power can mute a guildmate from public chats, which are Main, Area, Trade, Pub, and GamesRoom. To use this ability type /gmute guildmembername . For example, /gmute Keith. To undo this type /gunmute guildmembername . For example, /gunmute Keith.

  21. Note: A higher personal tax still overrides any other.
  22. Guild Maps - a guild member given this permission can start and complete maps*.
  23. Note: A map can be completed even if not 100% done and guild member(s) still in it. They will be booted out on their next action, even if trying to finish the mobs in a room!
  24. Guild Laboratory And Festivals - a guild member given this permission can research Festivals (or research the upgrade to one), and call a Festival(s) to the Festival Grounds. If a guild Officer is given this permission, they have the added ability to reset the Festival(s).
